Part-time faculty have a FLEX obligation that is adjusted each semester.
Part-time FLEX obligation applies only to adjunct faculty who are teaching a full-term (16-week) class
with synchronous meetings (either on campus or online via Zoom; it does not apply to asynchronous
online classes, short-term or late start classes).
FA25 FLEX obligation for part-time “C” load or full-time “AC” load is equal to the number of scheduled
instructional hours taught in a week on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
