How to Attend Meetings and Get Involved

UF Executive Board meetings are open to all faculty who want to stay informed or share feedback. Check the UF Event Calendar for upcoming meeting dates. We welcome public comments from 2:45–2:55 p.m., and faculty are invited to attend the first part of the meeting during the general session to hear updates and ongoing discussions. To attend remotely, please contact the UF Office at (925) 680-1771 or email us at uf@uf4cd.org to request the Zoom link. Your voice and presence matter—we encourage you to participate!

United Faculty is powered by the active participation of our members. There are many meaningful ways to get involved whether you’re looking to stay informed, lend your voice, or take on a leadership role. Your participation strengthens our collective voice and ensures we continue to advocate effectively for faculty rights, fair working conditions, and shared governance.

• Read the UF Update Emails: Stay informed by reading our regular UF Update emails. These updates include important news about contract issues, campus concerns, upcoming events, and ways to participate.
• Attend UF E-Board Meetings: Learn about current union priorities, district-wide faculty concerns, ask questions and share your input.
• Complete Surveys: Your feedback helps shape UF’s priorities and ensures your voice is part of the conversation.
• Vote in Union Elections: Voting empowers you to influence UF leadership and important decisions that affect all faculty.
• Run for the Executive Board: Step into a leadership role and help guide the direction of UF while representing your colleagues.
• Join a Working Group or Committee: Contribute your time and expertise by participating in projects related to evaluations, equity, and other key areas.
• Attend UF-Hosted Conferences & Events: UF organizes events throughout the year to educate, organize, and bring faculty together—your presence helps build community and solidarity.
