What we do
United Faculty is an independent labor union representing both full-time and part-time faculty across the Contra Costa Community College District. We negotiate fair contracts, advocate for equitable pay and benefits, and protect faculty rights to ensure fair and respectful working conditions. Our goal is to make sure your voice is heard and that you have the support you need throughout your career.
In addition to contract negotiations, United Faculty educates members about their contractual rights, serves as a liaison in resolving disputes between faculty, management, and the district, and offers workshops and evaluation training. We are committed to creating a strong and connected faculty community where your work is valued, your rights are upheld, and your professional growth is supported.
