Dear Colleagues:
We hope you had a refreshing spring break and are ready to dive back into some exciting upcoming opportunities! We are thrilled to share details about two key updates: The flier for our UF/FACCC Annual Benefits Conference (attached) and the launch of digital time entry for faculty (see below for more details). There are updates and opportunities from FACCC listed below too. Be sure to listen to our very own Halena Neyazi, Student Trustee for 4CD and LMC student, on the FACCC podcast, Amplifying Voices (linked below).
This conference is open to all faculty (full and part-time) and other employees of the district. See the attached flier for more information.
Please register via FACCC to attend the conference and via GROW@4CD to receive FLEX credit.
The district will begin using this system for faculty on April 1, 2025 beginning with the April 2025 pay period (nothing retroactive). Look for an email from Dan Cueva (sent 3/31) for more details.
Part-time, non-classroom positions that will be transitioning are: Part-time Counselors, Part-time Librarians, and all OAS positions. Substitute hours will continue to be paid on timesheets only, the only exception.
There will be two training sessions on Zoom on Thursday, April 3rd with different focus groups: 1pm-1:55pm Overview for faculty, hour entry focus.
2pm-2:45pm Overview for managers, supervisors and administrative assistants, approval focus. Watch for a meeting invite and link via Outlook Inbox.
